Our Mission

Our mission is to provide adults and children a martial arts experience that is more than kicking and punching.

We're here to provide a superior method of physical fitness and peace of mind.

The bonds forged during training at our academy are lifelong bonds that will definitely help you throughout your journey.

We love to partner with people who are ready to be better and to triumph over fear and become more confident.

We can help you start your journey today!

Professor Lea young

Professor Lea Young was a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu when she started teaching at New Breed Kauai under the tutelage of Master Johnny Ramirez, the founder of New Breed Academy in Santa Fe Springs, California. After relocating from Kauai, Hawaii, to Washington State in 2016, Lea received her black belt in December 2019 from Professors Rodrigo Lopes and Carlos Sievert of Gracie Barra Seattle.

Although she has not always been a part of the New Breed family throughout her entire black belt journey, New Breed has always held a special place in her heart and she looks forward to growing and continuing to help students build themselves through New Breed’s martial arts journey.
